How to vote
Write in: Tzianeng Vang
Tzianeng Vang for Minnesota Senate District 44 is not a formally registered campaign, so the name will not be printed on the ballot. Any voter can still vote for him — by hand, in one line.
One line, three words
Find the write-in box. Write the name.
On your ballot, look for State Senator, District 44. Below the printed names there is a blank line marked “write-in, if any”.
Write Tzianeng Vang on that line — the actual name, spelled out — and fill in the oval or arrow next to it if your ballot has one. That is the whole thing.
Spelling helps. T – Z – I – A – N – E – N – G V – A – N – G. Write it clearly and legibly so it can be read and counted.

However you vote, the write-in works the same
Vote in person on Election Day
Go to your assigned polling place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Minnesota polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and anyone in line at 8:00 p.m. may still vote. Write the name on the write-in line.
Vote early or absentee
Minnesota lets any registered voter vote absentee — no excuse needed — starting 46 days before the election. Request your ballot, fill it in at home, and write Tzianeng Vang on the write-in line before returning it.
Return it by mail, in person, or by Delivery Agent
Mail your official ballot back in time to arrive before Election Day, deliver it personally, or have a Delivery Agent deliver it for you. Minnesota limits how many voters one Delivery Agent may deliver for — confirm the current limit with your county elections office.
