Give a few hours to your own neighborhood
The single most useful thing anyone can do for a write-in campaign is teach one more voter how to spell the name.
- Talk to neighbors — door to door, or at your own kitchen table.
- Make calls or send texts to voters in District 44.
- Help at events — lake clean-ups, coffee hours, community festivals.
- Translate — Hmong, Karen, Spanish, Somali and more.
- Drive voters to their polling place on Election Day.
- Host a gathering in your home or at your business.

Yard signs
Signs teach spelling
On a printed ballot, a name is recognized. On a write-in line, it has to be remembered — letter by letter.
That is why a yard sign matters more in this campaign than in most. Every day a neighbor walks past Tzianeng Vang in your yard is a day the spelling gets easier.
Signs are free. We deliver them across the district, and we come back for them after the election.

Voters trust people they know long before they trust a candidate. If you are willing to say publicly that you are writing in Tzianeng Vang, that carries further than any mailer.

This website does not process payments. Tzianeng Vang for Minnesota Senate District 44 is not a formally registered campaign committee. No contribution is solicited, accepted or processed through this site.
If you would like to support the effort, use the form below to tell us how — and the campaign will contact you personally once the proper committee and reporting are in place.
What Minnesota law requires
Campaign finance rules exist so that voters can see who is behind a candidate. For Minnesota campaigns covered by Minnesota Statutes §211A.02:
- Anyone contributing more than $100 in total must be identified in campaign reports by name, address, and employer or occupation.
- A candidate or committee that receives or spends more than $750 in a calendar year must file an initial report within 14 days.
- Contributions must come from the contributor’s own funds, given voluntarily, and not from a corporate treasury where prohibited.
